about me

Designer, builder,
chronic tinkerer.
I started out in industrial design, got pulled into branding, detoured through motion, and eventually landed in product design. It turned out to be the place where all of it actually clicks. That winding path gave me something most designers don't have: a real feel for how things look, move, feel, and get built.
Over six years, I've worked across agencies, startups, and my own studio Syqi, shipping products in fintech, B2B SaaS, and enterprise. I've led teams, worked elbow-to-elbow with engineers, and built design systems from scratch. I've lived and worked in Dubai, India, Milan, and Amsterdam, which means I bring a pretty international lens to everything I make.
I design complex products that are actually pleasant to use. That usually means untangling messy workflows, building scalable systems, and making sure design decisions hold up when they hit the codebase. I'm comfortable in Figma and in code, so I don't just hand off, I follow through.
At TrueQC, I led a team of six and redesigned their platform end-to-end. Customer support queries dropped 60%. Not because we made things prettier, but because we madethem clearer. That's the kind of outcome I care about.
